One of the recent projects I have been managing at Balance Technology Group is the web site for NXTcomm08. The site has just been launched and we have more ideas up our sleeves, but already present is a media newsroom that embraces the use of social media.
The NXTcomm TV channel is hosted on YouTube, the photo gallery is on flickr and to contact their public relations staffer Neil Gaffney you can use LinkedIn. (If you missed my post about why you want to be Linked In take a moment now.)
There’s more in the newsroom to explore. The NXTcomm staff hopes this site will provide one stop shopping for all media that will cover their show.
There’s a good chance this approach will also help them to connect with many others who are interested in communications technologies and services.
