Why Don’t More Websites Feature Happy Customers?

I was ordering a new collar for one of my pups and went to my favorite source, http://dogidcollar.com/. I have active dogs who like to lose their tags, so a collar with the phone number embroidered right on it is a great solution.

Anyway, while I was there I was reminded of a neat feature – take a pic of your pooch wearing dogidcollar products and they will add it to their website Happy Customers feature. Brilliant!

I do have to wonder why more websites don’t do this? Most marketers know word-of-mouth recommendations are the best and many are diving into the social media waters to generate those conversations. But here is a simple way to do the same thing right on a traditional website. Maybe it is so simple that it is an overlooked tactic?
