Last week I attended “Getting Your Message Out: Creating a Successful Blog” sponsored by PRSA-NCC. I walked away with a lot of great ideas, among them these tips from Denise Graveline, president of don’t get caught, an independent communications consultancy and author of two blogs, don’t get caught news & info and The Eloquent Woman.
Tips for a good blog:
- Pay attention to the needs of the people/audience are trying to reach
- Anticipate topics; have an editorial plan
- Allow comments – engage your audience
- Frequency is important
