Smartphone Use in US

A new report from the Online Publishers Association (OPA) finds that smartphone users now top 107 million and two-thirds say they “cannot live without their smartphone.” Futher, 93 percent use their phones to check in with content regularly.

As for the activities taking place on the smartphone, many of them are associated with “snacking” on content—looking up and answering a question or finding a news story.
