Essential Books for the Writer: Part 2

Since writing a post about the best books for the writer’s bookshelf, I’ve received several additional suggestions. In addition to confirmations of several of the original suggestions, there were some great additions offered.

Here you go:

  • Todd Post via LinkedIn suggests How to Write Short: Word Craft for Fast Times by Roy Peter Clark. For the virtual bookshelf, she recommends Grammarly‘s social media for great infographics.
  • Katherine Hutt offers Grammar Girl (quickanddirtytips.com), Roget’s Thesaurus, Have a Nice Day. No Problem, and Eats, Shoots and Leaves.
  • Roxann Henze listed these as her favs: The Dictionary of Concise Writing by Robert Hartwell Fiske and Garbl’s Writing Center.

I thank everyone who shared their favorites and invite more.
