Visualize Social Media

header prismHere’s a visual that every communicator who wants to leverage social tools should have on hand: The Conversation Prism.

Developed in 2008 by Brian Solis, The Conversation Prism is a visual map of the social media landscape. It tracks dominant and promising social networks and organizes them by how they’re used in everyday life. It is updated regularly.

The prism is a great reminder that social media is more than Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. It is available as a free downloadable image or a poster. Study the landscape as you plan your next social media strategy.
