Twitter’s Periscope app lets you share and experience live video from your mobile phone. In keeping with consumers’ preference for stories and authentic messaging, periscope helps communicators to develop more personal relationship with target audiences.
Twitter had acquired live video-streaming app in March. According to Twitter, Periscope’s value for brands lies in its ability to help them provide real-time access to moments that matter.
It can be used for:

- Social sharing
Periscope has well over 1 million users but, compared with other social sites, it’s still an up-and-comer. So it’s a tool to use, but probably best as part of a multi-channel strategy.
