Snapchat is the fastest growing social media platform among millennials by a large margin, according to a new survey by Harvard University’s Institute of Politics.
Harvard surveyed 2,011 Americans aged 18-29 and found that 36 percent have a Snapchat account, up from 28 percent last year. Further, Snapchat’s user base skews female.
As for other social sites used by 18-29 year olds:
- 46% have an Instagram account
- 24% use Pinterest
- 81% use Facebook
- 14% use Tumblr
- 38% use Twitter
- 27% use LinkedIn
