3 Letters that Radiate Your Skill

APR_logoA word to those of you who are professional communicators: make this the year that you you earn your APR credential. April is APR month to highlight the professional expertise represented by the credential and to encourage more PR pros to demonstrate their expertise by earning it.

In the competitive public relations and communications career market, you can distinguish yourself by demonstrating your superior breadth of experience, depth of industry knowledge and passion for public relations with just three letters. Earning the APR  demonstrates an experienced PR professional’s mastery of strategic communication and personal and professional commitment to lifelong learning and ethical standards.

For me, the process of earning the APR was a great refresher years after earning my initial college degree. It connected me with other PR professionals, creating a network of people that I continue to tap for ideas and inspiration.

If you are fortunate enough to live in the metro DC area, PRSA-NCC has a strong program to support you through the process of earning the APR.
