LinkedIn released an infographic (below) that is based on feedback from more than 9,000 LinkedIn members. It provides insight into why they engage with content on the platform, how sharing behavior differs between demographic groups, and which topics drive the most interest.
The data shows that content that is informative and relevant to your connections and target audience has the highest chance of engagement. Posts that cover industry trends and news and best practices are the most likely to be seen as informative.
