Getting people to connect with you on social media or to sign up for your email list is just the start. You need to nurture your connection to them to keep the relationship alive.
Nurturing from Prospect to Client
Likely, some of your connections are people who are interested, but not yet a customer. Some buyer journeys are longer than others. All require ongoing interaction to move the person toward that goal.
The prospect needs to get to know you better. You want to share information that:
- Maintains brand awareness
- Generates trust
- Creates interest in your products and services
- Provides insight into your differentiators
Your messaging can take many forms:
- Blog posts
- Social media posts
Don’t forget to engage with their content as well. Comment on social media posts. Sign up for their webinar. Actively show your interest in learning about them.
