About Me: Jill Kurtz, APR
Jill is an expert at digital marketing, social media strategy, strategic communication, and public relations. She develops online marketing and communication strategies for clients that achieve critical business goals. The common thread that weaves through everything she does is a focus on developing and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their target audiences.
Strategic Approach to Your Project
Each message, website, social community, or other communication tool is not the communication goal – these and the constantly growing number of places and ways to communicate –are merely tools to help businesses to develop relationships. She guides her clients in the strategy behind selecting the right tools and the right messages that enable them to get invested with their target audience for a long-term, ongoing relationship of give and take, send and share.
As the leader of Kurtz Digital Strategy, Jill is proud to help clients see the communication potential of the newest trends and technologies. She is always learning about the latest ways to achieve communication goals. She enjoys finding ways to make new technologies help organizations to connect with the people that they serve and to achieve their business goals.
Marketing and Public Relations Experience
Jill has served General Motors, International Paper, Fairfax County Public Schools, Balance Interactive, and American Public University System. Current clients include Samos Advisors, Brainiacs, and Myers 5 Group. Her project success stories show the variety of business goals that can be reached with insightful online communication strategies.
During her time with Fairfax schools, she developed and implemented the school system’s public Web, intranet, and Keep in Touch e-mail system. At Balance Interactive, she was the first employee and grew the company to 20+ strong. She was chief operating officer and led the efforts to create effective online strategies for more than 100 clients.
